Let's start off the year with fresh, invigorating color. Pantone has chosen Tangerine Tango as the color of the year for 2012 and I couldn't agree more that this color is really hot right now in interiors and fashion! With the radiance of red and the slight warmth of yellow, this color demands attention.
Even a super simple, all white interior looks alive with just a little touch of Tangerine Tango. I love this type of design because it allows you to constantly change the look of your space with your accessories.
I've always been a huge fan of painted ceilings. There's something so unique about it and not to mention attention grabbing, especially with such an incredible shade of orange. The tangerine drapery is a great way to pull the color down from the ceiling without being overwhelming.
This is a great example of a "neutral" interior that isn't so neutral. Notice how the strip of tangerine wall above the window perfectly complements the strip of orange on the upholstered chairs? The combination of creams, tans, and whites go so wonderfully with Tangerine Tango!
Instead of a fresh and fun take of Tangerine Tango, I love this warmer look. Matched with rich wood tones and some great accent lighting, this is such a rich, rustic look that would look good in any space.
